MAP ME

Two bodies – a man’s and a woman’s – explore each other, and, at ease and almost still, seek a symbiosis. Besides all this it is also an investigation into sharing intimacy with an audience. MAP ME investigates performance as a different medium alongside dance and theatre. Performance viewed as a collection of physical, visual, and/or theatrical ‘actions’ and ‘non-actions’.

Charlotte Vanden Eynde and Kurt Vandendriessche literally map out their own bodies, mainly by means of video images projected on their bodies. Close-ups of body parts and the mutual touching of the two performers make MAP ME a highly tactile piece.
